How I can configure my network to work with a print server?

I have a Mac with OS 9 and PC groups. I connected, through a Linksys router. The Mac can connect to the Internet, but I have not shared file with any of the PC's. Will it be a problem? Does the Mac to print from the server? Do I have to purchase a particular print server?

But what if you do not have a network printer-ready? The truth is that ANY printer can be shared on a network, and you do not have to buy a new printer or printer server. All you need is a wired or wireless router (like Linksys, Netgear or D-Link). Simply connect a regular USB or Parallel Printer to one of the teams, click on the printer icon for the printer, and share. Then any other equipment can be installed as a shared network printer. I think it is a very cool, very easy and very free.
