I am trying to connect an apple airport express to the internet through a linksys wireless router?

My roommate got a linksys wireless router and we only have one functional ethernet jack. Currently we have a setup that goes internet -> linksys wireless router -> apple airport express. Before we had internet -> linksys wire switch -> apple airport express. The original setup worked fin however now my computer indicates that the internet is connected and skype works but AIM does not and webpages do not load.

The airport is not needed If you now have a linksys wireless router. Removing the airport may fix your problem because I’m guessing both the airport and linksys are trying to act as DHCP servers. This may cause issues with assigning DNS servers to your computer.

Try typing 17.251.200.32 in your address bar, if it takes you to Apple.com then the mac isn’t being assigned a DNS server.
